At the upcoming ISE 2023 show in Barcelona, in booth 5J500, Atlona will showcase its new AT-HDR-CAT series of distribution amplifiers.
The new product line replaces the company’s AT-UHD-CAT family of components, and Atlona emphasizes the new distribution amplifiers support formats such as 4K/UHD at 60Hz, 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and high dynamic range (HDR). Atlona boasts the AT-HDR CAT series of distribution amplifiers provides, “visually lossless compression” to support today’s popular AV formats over HDBaseT.
According to the company, some of the applications in which integrators can utilize the line of distribution amplifiers include commercial reception areas, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and educational environments. The AT-HDR-CAT series products feature an HDMI input that is capable of transmitting multichannel audio, video, control and power signals over their HDBaseT outputs.
The AT-HDR-CAT Series of distribution amplifiers includes:
- AT-HDR-CAT-2: Two HDBaseT outputs that transmits up to 130 feet (40 meters) for 4K HDR content or 230 feet (70 meters) for 1080p
- AT-HDR-CAT-4: Four HDBaseT outputs that transmits up to 130 feet (40 meters) for 4K HDR content or 230 feet (70 meters) for 1080p
- AT-HDR-CAT-8: Eight HDBaseT outputs that transmits up to 130 feet (40 meters) for 4K HDR content or 230 feet (70 meters) for 1080p
- AT-HDR-CAT-4ED: Four extended-distance HDBaseT outputs that transmits up to 330 feet (100 meters), and the unit provides Ethernet extension
