Shade manufacturer Draper plans to showcase new roller shade innovations and a new fixed frame screen at the 2023 CEDIA Expo as the Spiceland, Ind.-based firm continues to make inroads into the residential space through the Draper at Home .

“This year visitors will get a sense of just how wide-ranging our capabilities are,” says Clint Childress, director of residential markets. “As a residential shading and AV partner we offer solutions and support that you otherwise won’t find in in one place.”

The company will be showcasing its new FlexStyle Cassette, which Draper calls a trim and elegant shade that ships assembled and ready for mounting at booth 3912 on the show floor. The company will also highlight its Gabled Bottom-Up FlexShade for angled windows. In addition, Draper will also show off the Ascend roller shade, which it calls a safe manual shade that retracts easily.

For projection screens, Draper at CEDIA Expo will be showing off its StyleLine, a fixed-frame screen designed for flexibility with three trim options. The frame is light and easier to install than other screens, according to Draper.

Draper will even be showing off its products outside the Colorado Convention Center at “Destination Outdoors,” a mainstay of CEDIA Expo which showcases new outdoor technologies. There Draper will be displaying its motorized, wind-tunnel-tested FlexShade ZIP, a roller shade designed to resist wind, weather and insects, the company says.

Also outside will be Draper’s Exterior Motorized FlexShade, an economical and easy-to-use outdoor shading solution. According to Draper, side channels or cable guides help keep the shade fabric in place.

Also on display will be shading solutions from Draper’s European partners that are exclusively available through Draper at Home.
