SIM2 Multimedia has announced that this year the company celebrates its 30th anniversary of providing state-of-the-art home video equipment solutions.
The Italian company, which is based in Pordenone, points out a 30th Anniversary is a proud milestone for any company, specifically in an industry in which many consider the home cinema industry as “young.” SIM2 wants to celebrate its anniversary with a number of initiatives that will generate further business opportunities for its partners and that will be announced quarterly over the course of the next year.
For SIM2, the company boasts, home cinema is not only a business, but it is a passion, and home theater is what the company was founded upon.
Looking back on its history, Sim2 states it goes back to the first CRT projector for home cinema during the 1990s—The HT200—which the company says was the first projector specifically designed for home cinema in 2000. From there, Sim2 continues, it had released products such as the C3X line, which was a compact 3-chip DLP model back in 2005, as well as the NERO4 line, which Sim2 says was the first DLP 4k UHD projector on the market in 2016, and the CRYSTAL 4SH 4K UHD hybrid laser based models back in 2021.
Today, the company adds that after 30 years of continuous fine tuning of these technologies, it offers professional integrators a complete range of models for performance, quality, and home integration that provide high levels of performance, ease of installation and long-term durability.
