LG Electronics USA has announced pricing and availability of its 2024 OLED evo TV line of products.
The LG OLED evo G4 Series and LG OLED evo C4 Series are expected to start shipping in late March and pre-order offers are available from LG-authorized resellers. Additional models will be announced at a later date.
With over a decade of experience in the OLED domain, LG‘s newest OLED evo TVs are engineered to enhance the viewing experience through self-lit picture quality, the latest AI-driven processor, and an upgraded webOS platform that offers an array of smart features, alongside access to a continually expanding library of content with LG channels.
The LG OLED evo G4 Series of products offers a choice of five screen sizes: 97-, 83-, 77-, 65- & 55-inches. The LG OLED evo C4 series of TVs offers a choice of six screen sizes: 83-, 77-, 65-, 55-, 48- & 42-inches.
A Closer Look at the LG evo G4 and evo C4 OLED TVs
Powered by the company’s latest AI processor, these new additions to the OLED lineup are said to deliver high-level viewing experiences with even more vibrant, lifelike picture quality. LG points out it now offers a new 97-inch screen size, and its G4 TVs are equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, which the global electronics company asserts, effectively enhances picture and audio quality. Designed exclusively for LG OLED TVs, the processor provides an improved graphics performance and processing speed compared to its predecessor, allowing users to find and choose what to watch fast and without lag.

The OLED evo G4 series also features the company’s Brightness Booster Max technology that is said to increase peak brightness by up to 150% magnifying the glow of each pixel via LG’s Micro Lense Array technology. The result LG claims is luminous, high-contrast picture quality that includes rooms with ambient light.
The advanced LG OLED evo C4 series is powered by the next-generation α9 AI Processor—Gen7,—the C4 televisions are said to provide a smooth, vivid picture no matter what homeowners are watching. The C4s are also equipped with LG’s Brightness Boosting technology to help the TVs deliver detail in environments that include well-lit rooms.
LG also notes the OLED evo C4 features an upgraded ultra-slim industrial design to help the OLED TVs blend into a variety of home settings through an almost invisible bezel for a seamless look. According to LG, when homeowners are finished watching, the LG OLED evo C4 line of products blend into any space to complement home decor such as paintings, photos, and other interior design elements.
Elaborating on the processing that powers the evo G4 and C4 product lines, LG’s newest OLED TVs incorporate the company’s AI upscaling that utilize pixel-level image analysis to sharpen objects and backgrounds that may appear blurry. LG states that driven by its AI technologies, the TVs deliver a clearer and more vibrant viewing experience.
Moreover, the company continues, the AI processors refine colors by analyzing frequently used shades that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers and content creators. The TVs’ Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro splits pictures into blocks and fine-tunes the image by analyzing variations in brightness where light enters the scene. The result, according to LG is immersive three-dimensional content.
Other technologies built into the LG evo G4 and C4 OLED TVs include several gaming-friendly processing features such as 4K 144Hz refresh rates and HDMI 2.1 inputs. The TVs also come with Game Optimizer that lets gamers switch between display presets designed for different gaming genres, and through these technologies the TVs support NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync to eliminate immersion-breaking tearing and stuttering.
Supporting homeowners streaming activities, the TV offer LG’s webOS smart TV platform. Through the company’s smart services users can create up to 10 individual profiles to tailor their individual experience to their specific preferences. LG’s latest smart TVs also recognize users’ voices based on profiles and offer personalized recommendations by interpreting patterns from comprehensive usage history.
LG adds the evo G4 and evo C4 OLED TVs also support the image and audio-enhancing capabilities of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Moreover, the TVs inclusion of FILMMAKER MODE allows homeowners to see their movies just as the director intended.
