A growing trend in custom home electronics is technology that blends into its environment, and simply put, looks nice. That’s what Leon Speakers plans to bring to CEDIA Expo 2024 in the form of its new Edge Flex Frame for any slim-profile TV and new additions to its Studio Frame for the Sony Bravia 7.
The Ann Arbor, Mich. Manufacturer is known for its design-oriented approach that aims to bring an elegant finishing touch to projects and is apparently building on that approach with its new products.
The new Edge Flex Frame is a new addition to the company’s Edge Media Frame line and it’s compatible with any TV less than 2 inches deep. The frame measures 2.75-inches in installed depth and is designed to turn a TV into a work of art, the company says.
Complete with a SANUS LL11 slim-fit mounting bracket, the frame picks up on a recent trend of making TVs look like artwork when they’re not in use, rather than just a black screen. The Edge Flex Frame is designed to fit over 700 leading TV models from LG, Sony and Samsung.
The frame can also be paired with the company’s FrameBar 11UX soundbar.

The Edge Flex Frame comes in four finishes: oak, walnut matte black and grain white. The company says the frame features a “shadow-box” style reveal, Flex Frame’s thermo-laminated HDF molding and tight-to-wall installation to combine aesthetics and durability.
Leon Speakers to Feature in Day of Discovery Tour at CEDIA Expo 2024
The company is also launching its new Studio Frame for Sony Bravia 7, building on the success of its frame solution for the Sony Bravia XR. The updated version includes two new sizes and features, including an onboard IR receiver, updates to the Sony Art Gallery App, and cam-lock mitered corners for better stability. New sizes include 55-inches and 85-inches, adding to the existing 65-inch and 75-inch sizes.
The company markets the FrameBar 44UX soundbar as a “perfect match” to a Sony Bravia 7 TV with the Studio Frame.
In addition to these solutions, Leon will be showcasing its built-to-match Horizon Soundbars and will be holding an exclusive preview of the upcoming Leon Edge Media Frame for Meridian designed for Meridian Audio’s architectural loudspeakers.
Leon Speakers will also be participating in Technology Designer’s Day of Discovery event on Thursday, Sept. 5. The event will conclude with Leon President and Founder Noah Kaplan painting a work on art live on-set.
On Friday, Sept. 6, Leon Speakers’ Executive Vice President Jeff Day will present a talk on Integrating Art and Audio in the Modern Workplace at the 2024 Commercial Integrator Expo Conference (CIX).
