Trinnov Audio will demonstrate its new acoustic processing technology at ISE 2023 in booth 2D150.
The demonstration will take part in partnership with Krix, Sony & Officina Acustica, and Trinnov emphasizes this new digital sound field control system makes its debut in an active 13.16.6 channel home cinema system.
“In 2023, we proudly celebrate our 20th anniversary as a company. It’s been an incredible journey so far and to celebrate this accomplishment in style, Trinnov is thrilled to demonstrate another groundbreaking technology at ISE 2023. Our new, disruptive algorithm controls the soundfield entirely in time and the three dimensions of the space across the entire listening area. In its first iteration, the algorithm uses subwoofer arrays and sophisticated processing to control the acoustics of the room, including room modes.” States Arnaud Laborie, CEO, Trinnov Audio.
“We have reached a point where we believe this new technology has the potential to redefine home theater design. This may well set a new standard and replace today’s best practices. Provided the minimum required conditions are met, it is now possible to make low frequency room modes disappear within the room. One can now truly talk about Active Acoustics.”
Trinnov will selectively roll out this new technology, based on specific projects, over the next few months before offering the finalized software as a complimentary upgrade to Altitude16 and Altitude32 owners.
To deliver the highest possible performance, Trinnov will demonstrate this groundbreaking innovation in an uncompromised environment. Trinnov is teaming up with a few key partners, starting with long-time and trusted partner Officina Acustica.
Maurizio Conti & Peter Aylett of Officina Acustica engineered an exquisite yet acoustically accurate room that includes 18 seats distributed across three rows. All loudspeakers and subwoofers are provided by Krix. The screen channels are comprised of Krix’s 3-way, bi-amped, horn design MX-40 LCR modules and sixteen Hyperphonix 45 surround and overhead speakers. The Double Bass Array, consisting of sixteen Cyclonix 18” subwoofers – eight at the front of the room and eight at the back, along with Trinnov’s technology, is sure to provide a unique and visceral experience.
All loudspeakers are driven by four Amplitude16 power amplifiers, showing its full power, capability and versatility. Surround and overhead speakers are all powered with single-ended channels whilst screen channels and subwoofers are all bridged.
Complementing the audio is the world’s most advanced laser projector: Sony’s flagship GTZ-380, which outputs 10,000 lumens with DCI-P3 capable lasers, illuminating a 5.8 meter wide Screen Research screen.
