Built upon the company’s ISP Elite MK3 platform, StormAudio has announced its new ISR Fusion 20 AV receiver.
The French high-performance AV company states that its latest product provides as many as 20 channels of surround sound that includes 16 channels of built-in amplification. According to StormAudio, the new ISR Fusion 20 AVR’s built-in amplification utilizes ICE Power technologies to deliver 150-watts per channel or 500 watts when bridged.
StormAudio boasts that its new receiver has enough DSP capabilities to provide immersive audio processing up to 11.1.8 using a choice of the Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D or IMAX Enhanced formats. The ISR Fusion 20 Receiver also provides integrators the option of Dirac Live Active Room Treatment room optimization. The company also points out the receiver provides up to 20 PEQs per channel, along with the ability to drive as many as four active crossovers, and it accommodates any number of subwoofers in a choice of configurations.
Some of the other features the ISR Fusion 20 AVR provides professional integrators include HDMI 2.1 with an upgradeable board to help homeowners keep pace with the advances in the market. Through the receiver’s HDMI 2.1 compatibility the unit works with formats such as 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz, HDR, including Dolby Vision, and it provides ARC/eARC capabilities.
