Providing integrators and homeowners a large-screen size option for outdoor entertainment, Samsung has introduced an 85-inch The Terrace Outdoor 4K TV.
Samsung states that its latest 4K outdoor television is a full sun model that utilizes its Neo QLED 4K screen technologies that enables the 85-inch model to stay bright in sunlight through the company’s Direct-Sun Protection technology. Exhibiting in booth #1912 at the CEDIA Expo in Denver on Sept. 7-9, the new large-screen The Terrace will be on display in the company’s show booth.
The global electronics company explains the new outdoor television’s QLED display panel delivers 100% color volume to produce billions of colors to offer homeowners a bright and vivid picture in outdoor environments. The IP56-rated television also includes an anti-glare screen and wide viewing angle to allow users to watch sports, streaming content and movies from poolside or from a comfortable chair directly in front of the TV.
Samsung also emphasizes The Terrace incorporates its Quantum Processing technologies to minimize motion blur, and it upscales lower resolution content to eliminate image noise to provide homeowners with clear, detailed images.
Additionally, the 85-inch 4K TV supports HDR10+, and it offers features such as HDBaseT for simple connectivity. Some of the TV’s other options include support for Samsung’s Gaming Hub, and Samsung notes The Terrace also runs on its Tizen operating system that features Samsung TV plus, which is a free, ad-supported TV and video on demand service.
Lastly, the TV includes Samsung SolarCell Remote, which uses a solar panel to recharge the remote whether the control interface is indoors or outdoors.
