The 83-inch class OLED 4K TV is a brand new large-screen addition to Samsung’s 2023 TV lineup.
According to Samsung, the 83inch class S90C OLED 4K TV features the company’s Samsung Neural Quantum Processor that deploys 8.3 million self-illuminating pixels to deliver content with deep blacks and “over a billion shades of lifelike color.” The company says this includes vivid color palettes validated by Pantone, the industry-leading color experts, so images on the screen look nearly identical to real life.
The Neural Quantum Processor upscales content into sharp 4K resolution, regardless of the original source, and the HRD OLED delivers fine-tuned brightness and optimized contrast, the company says.
In addition, the new OLED S90C 4K TV features a LaserSlim design that’s virtually bezel-free and includes a streamlined stand, and customers also have the option for a near flush-fit wall mount solution.
The TV also features Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite for a 3D audio experience that dynamically delivers realistic three-dimensional sound, Samsung says, adding that pairing the TV with a Q-Series of S-Series soundbar brings out the best of this feature.
The 83-inch class OLED S90C 4K TV also features Samsung’s connected features, such as TV Plus with access to hundreds of free streaming channels. In addition, the company’s smart TV OS Tizen helps users find what to watch with a tailored home screen.
The TV also features a built-in voice assistant to hep users find new shows, adjust the volume and take control of nearby devices, according to Samsung.
The company’s new TV also includes Samsung Gaming Hub, bringing together the best of console games, streaming games, and more. It includes HDMI 2.1 along with motion enhancements for crisp 4K visuals at up to 120hz for any content.
The TV also comes with the Samsung SolarCell Remote that charges via artificial or natural light, as well as RF waves.
