Legrand, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, announces the hiring of Pam Hoppel as president of Legrand | AV.
Prior to joining Legrand, Hoppel held various leadership positions at Delta Faucet Company where, most recently as VP of Trade, she built and implemented both the trade and international vision as well as the strategy to deliver profitable above-market sales growth and margin expansion.
Before her role as VP of Trade, Hoppel led the retail business as VP, during which time Delta Faucet Company was named The Home Depot Marketing Partner of the Year, a company first.
She was also President and General Manager for Kidde, one of America’s largest manufacturers of smoke alarms and fire safety products.
In that role, Hoppel led profitable growth by setting the global business strategy for the company; specifically leading all sales, marketing, and communications along with five global distribution and manufacturing facilities, two regionalized contact centers, and a global engineering center.

As part of Legrand, North and Central America (LNCA), Legrand | AV creates integrated technology experiences through innovative brand solutions and exceptional service. As part of the LNCA CEO Executive Committee, Hoppel will drive all aspects of the AV business, including increasing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, sales, and market share growth, the company states.
“Made up of nine brands and multiple acquisitions, Legrand | AV continues to be a leader in the AV space. Pam’s background outside of AV brings an open-minded perspective to help the organization move to the next level of innovation and growth,” says John Selldorff, president and CEO, Legrand, North and Central America.
“She’s a very commercially oriented person who understands customers, markets, the importance of service, and managing complexity. I’m excited to have her join the company.”
This news comes shortly after the company announced that it has passed certification for ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which is a standard for information security management systems.
The certification confirms that Legrand | AV achieved the most rigorous international standards for protection and security within the software and firmware used for its connected devices, embedded systems, and IT systems that are created at its Fairfield, New Jersey; Draper, Utah; and Minnetonka, Minnesota, R&D facilities. This includes the company’s C2G, Da-Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, and Vaddio brands.
