Cancelled CE Events
Azione Unlimited Spring Extroversive Experience conference: The buying group Azione Unlimited has decided to cancel its Spring Extroversive Experience conference in Bonita Springs, Fla.
Digital Signage Expo 2020: While DSE 2020 was scheduled for Nov. 11-13 in Las Vegas after a pair of postponements from the original dates in March because of pandemic, the event has now been formally cancelled. Read the full story here.
E3: Electronic Entertainment Expo, the video game industry’s largest convention, has been cancelled by the Entertainment Software Association, citing a need to prevent possible health and safety problems for its exhibitors and attendees. Read the full story here.

ESX 2020: Based on the well-being of our community, the leadership of ESX has chosen to cancel Electronic Security Expo 2020 (ESX 2020), originally scheduled for June 9-12 in Nashville, Tennessee.
High End Munich: The big international Hi-Fi tradeshow High End Munich was scheduled to be held over four days, May 14-17, but is now officially cancelled. Read the full story here.
HTSA Spring Conference: The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) buying group has cancelled its upcoming HTSA Spring Conference planned for April 6-8 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The spring event has not been rescheduled. Read the full story here.
InfoComm 2020: AVIXA has announced that InfoComm 2020, the largest annual pro AV show in North America, is being canceled due to “concern for the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, partners and staff.” Read the full story here.
NAB 2020: The National Association of Broadcasters show, originally scheduled for April in Las Vegas, has been canceled. Read the full story here.
PSA TEC 2020: The integrator conference was scheduled to be held April 20-23 in Denver. The PSA has officially announced the event’s cancellation as of April 8, 2020.
Postponed or Virtual CE Events
AXPONA Audio Show: The show has been postponed from April to August 2020, “out of concern for the health and safety of all participants due to the coronavirus situation,” according to event organizers. Read the full story here.
CEDIA Expo 2020: CEDIA Expo has pivoted to a fully online CEDIA Expo Virtual Experience this year, including booths, keynotes, and educational opportunities from September 15-17. Read the full story here.
CEDIA Vancouver Tech Summit: CEDIA has announced the cancellation of its upcoming Tech Summit slated for Vancouver on March 12 due to the coronavirus. The association plans to reschedule the event for later in the year. Read the full story here.
CEDIA Tech Summits (Calif. and Texas): CEDIA has called off Tech Summits scheduled for Woodland Hills, Calif.; Irvine, Calif.; Dallas; and Houston. Read the full story here.
CES 2021: The Consumer Electronics Show will be moved completely online in 2021. Read the full story here.
DSE 2020: This year’s Digital Signage Expo has now been rescheduled for September 15-18, with access to the exhibit hall September 16-17. DSE 2020 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in South Hall Three. Read the full story here.
Fiber Connect 2020: The Fiber Broadband Association’s annual show has been postponed until December 14-16, 2020, and will still take place at the Gaylord Opryland hotel in Nashville with the same show floor, room blocks, and date patterns. Learn more here.
ISC East 2020: Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, Reed Exhibitions has announced that the next ISC East in-person event will take place Nov. 17-18, 2021.
ISC West: Producer of ISC West Reed Exhibitions has decided to postpone ISC West until October 5-8, citing a need to ‘prioritize the health and safety of everyone involved with ISC West’ amidst rising coronavirus concerns. Read the full story here.
LightFair 2020: The world’s largest architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference was scheduled for May 3-7 in Las Vegas and will now take place in late summer or early fall pending improved conditions, according to show director Dan Darby. Read the announcement here.
Nationwide Marketing Group PrimeTime: Nationwide’s second PrimeTime event for 2020 will now be completely virtual from October 27-29.
2020 Northeast Security Systems Contractors Expo: Due to the significant COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak and its impact on public health, the 2020 Northeast Security Systems Contractors Expo. The expo will now take place on Tuesday, September 22nd and the NEACC Annual Fall Classic Golf Outing will take place the following day on Wednesday, September 23rd. Learn more here.
WELL Conference: The conference, presented by the International WELL Building Institute, the American Society of Interior Designers and Emerald, has been moved from March 29-April 1 to August 16-19 due to the coronavirus. Read the full story here.
