It’s been about a week since Apple announced iCloud. And CasaTunes is putting its name out there as the first multiroom music product (that we know of) to support iTunes in the Cloud beta, with plans to add iTunes Match in the fall. CasaTunes will automatically detect when any new song or audio file is added to your iTunes in the Cloud account. Does anyone not have an app these days? Don’t look at CasaTunes, which has announced the CasaTunes App for iPads and Android Tablets. Both apps work with all CasaTunes XL Music Servers, as well as CasaTunes Music Servers for Channel Vision, NuVo and Russound. Combine one of those with an iPad or Android tablet, and clients can enjoy one-touch access to specific rooms, sources and songs. Sadly for patients and loved ones alike, Alzheimer's sufferers may be trapped in the now, unable to recognize family members or summon memories. But music has been known to bring Alzheimer's patients out of their reverie, reminding them of people and experiences gone by.
