Peerless PRG-UNV Projector Mount

JVC makes fabulous projectors, or so folks say. I don’t carry the brand. JVC projectors require a larger mounting bracket than a typical “spider” type of mount, and I am pleased to report that my friends at Peerless have adjusted their PRG-UNV bracket to work with these larger projectors. Of course, you’ll check the specific model to make sure it fits before you drive to the job site. The rack and pinion mechanism means you no longer have to wonder if you adjusted the bracket properly and tightened the set screws enough; the PRG-UNV sets pitch, yaw and roll and stays set. Like most brackets on the market, you attach this with 1.5-inch NPT pipe.

Any real reason for the insinuated slight to JVC? It adds nothing to the product listing. Maybe you didn’t intend your opening statement to cast doubt on the judgement of people who like JVC… but it does. This slideshow, like all of them, is unsigned and not credited to any author, but this batch is littered with personal comments and references to “I do this” and “I wouldn’t use it for that” which seem to me to be inappropriate in an anonymous product blurb.
