JBL Everest ... Light

If you’ve ever been floored by the performance—and prices—of JBL’s K2 and Everest speakers, its new JBL LS Series might be just the thing.
The more affordable line brings the same compression driver technology as the K2 and Everest “at a price people can afford,” says Phil McPhee, marketing manager, home theater, for JBL parent Harman International.
The new LS Series includes a compact bookshelf loudspeaker (the LS40); two floor-standing tower speakers (the LS60 and LS80); and a center-channel loudspeaker (the LS Center).
In a 5.1 system, McPhee says LS speakers range from $3,499 to $5,500.
