The SV670 Cinema Series LED TV features FocaLight Full Matrix LED with Local Dimming, which Toshiba says is better than standard edge LED.

Full Matrix creates better brightness uniformity, especially noticeable in dark rooms, according to Toshiba. It says Local Dimming also produces deep blacks without sacrificing any peak white brightness for the most dynamic picture possible.
