Sharp 3.1 Sound Bar Home Theater System

Sharp added a 3.1-channel version of its 2.1-channel sound bar.

The 3.1-channel HT-SB500 can be placed on a TV stand (32-inch LCD and up) with included mounting plates. The 32-watt sound bar uses SRS TruSurround HD. It adds digital audio decoding with DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro logic II decoder, as well as Dolby Virtual Speaker to simulate 5.1 channel surround sound.

The HT-SB500 will be available in December for $349.99.
