PS Audio says its PerfectWave Transport was the first standalone box to play HRx discs, CDs or DVDs that deliver 24-bit, 176kHz sound. The company says it can “output near-perfect digital data to any D to A processor made.”

The PerfectWave Transport rips discs to its internal memory and then makes them available to networked devices. When paired with the PerfectWave DAC, the system can output high-quality audio to an amplifier.
