PS Audio’s PerfectWave DAC is a digital-to-analog converter designed as a companion device to the PerfectWave Transport high resolution audio player.

The PerfectWave DAC can also serve as a music server that streams high resolution music throughout a home network, compatible with music data up to 196kHz and 24 bit in size.

The server plays through the audio interface I2S, which is intended to reduce jitter. The PerfectWave DAC can be controlled through home automation equipment or an iPhone interface.
