Tuffy chose Lair for one reason — uncompressed 7.1 audio. The PS3 has the ability to do this, and if you have a 7.1 system that can accept 7.1 PCM via HDMI, you really should try this game.

The orchestral arrangements sound fantastic and the cut-scenes not only look amazing, but the sound design is enhanced by the uncompressed audio. Tuffy believes games will be the main push for 7.1 in the home. This is the first example of 7.1 uncompressed on the platform.
