Miele’s RemoteVision module is incorporated into the company’s MasterCool line of appliances, which feature a small chip with wireless WLAN technology.

The technology links the appliances to a monitoring center, which is notified whenever a “fault” occurs. For example, if the fridge is left open, an e-mail, text message or phone call can inform the user.
