Convergent Living has added the iPhone to its list of interfaces for its home control systems. The control systems can now be controlled remotely with the free software.

Here is what’s needed for the interface to work: iPhone (of course), Companion SideKick controller or LED backlit NEO8, 10 or 15 smartscreens and router port forwarding.

“We continue to preach the benefits of the user experience and thanks to iPhone’s ease of navigation, exciting color-saturated graphics and Companion’s user-consistent Adobe Flash GUIs, we can deliver on the oft-ignored premise that the user experience is paramount and not the plethora of gadgets”, says Convergent CEO Craig Slawson.

Convergent exhibited its iPhone interface at CEDIA Expo 2008.
