Savant is adding an application to enable two-way command of Rosie home control systems via iPhone or iPod touch.

The new app, introduced at CEDIA Expo 2008, offers two-way communication for the following systems on the Rosie on-screen display: lighting, HVAC, security cameras and supported A/V equipment.

The app has the “gesture” control and “tilt” sensors found on both the iPhone and iPod touch.

It also includes “themed interfaces” that can be customized by Savant dealers. Savant’s app will soon be available from the App Store for $199.
