Audio Authority’s Avatrix HD switchers have been well received by integrators. The AVX-661-NR switches between six HD component video sources up to six zones, expands up to 36 zones with additional switchers, and supports video and audio as far as 1,000 feet away through a pair of Cat5 cables. Each zone requires a Cat5 receiver to convert the signal back to component video and either stereo A/V or digital coax.
