Stealth Acoustics on the Future of Invisible Speakers, Luxury Design

Stealth Acoustics discusses invisible speakers, FidelityGlass technology, luxury home design, and what's coming to home entertainment.

Homeowners increasingly want immersive entertainment without compromising interior design, and Stealth Acoustics believes invisible speakers are becoming an essential part of that equation.

In this CE Pro interview, Brian Azzano, Vice President and General Manager of Stealth Acoustics, discusses how the company’s latest invisible speaker technology is helping integrators deliver premium audio in media rooms, great rooms, and whole-home distributed audio systems while eliminating visible speaker grilles and enclosures.

Azzano explains that modern luxury homes demand technology that blends seamlessly into the architecture rather than competing with it. That philosophy has driven the development of Stealth’s LineaRadiance series, including higher-performance models designed for entertainment spaces where homeowners expect theater-quality sound without sacrificing aesthetics.

A key differentiator is the company’s proprietary FidelityGlass flat-radiating diaphragm technology. Unlike traditional cone speakers that direct sound into a relatively narrow listening area, the flat diaphragm delivers nearly 180 degrees of dispersion, providing more even coverage while giving integrators greater flexibility in speaker placement.

The interview also addresses one of the biggest concerns surrounding invisible speakers: reliability. Azzano outlines Stealth’s manufacturing process, explaining that every speaker is hand-built, individually tested, and backed by a 20-year warranty that even contributes toward refinishing walls or ceilings should a manufacturing defect require replacement.

Installation misconceptions are another topic of discussion. While invisible speakers require coordination during construction, Azzano says integrators are primarily responsible for mounting the speakers, with drywall and finishing trades completing the final surface work, making the process more collaborative than many assume.

Looking ahead to CEDIA Expo 2026, Stealth Acoustics plans to showcase new additions to its LineaRadiance lineup alongside direct-view LED innovations, including architectural video wall solutions designed to hide large-format displays when they’re not in use.
