Integrated Fiber Platform (IFP) has added to its product line with the introduction of its IFP Connect network infrastructure products.
The Idaho-based manufacturer states that with the release of its latest product, it is providing integrators with Power over Ethernet (PoE) transceivers that enable single-mode fiber connection points for components that range from touch panels and access points, to cameras and other devices that run on PoE power.
“IFP Connect was designed to solve the everyday problem for integrators having to install maxed-out category cable for their networks. With IFP, integrators install single mode fiber and low voltage power cable for superior network speed today and for the future. Our PoE transceiver supports more networked devices. Now integrators can deliver complete fiber infrastructure solutions” comments Buzz Delano, director of business development, Integrated Fiber Platform (IFP).
IFP Connect Network PoE Transceivers Deliver 30 Watts of PoE+ Power
According to the company, the new IFP Connect PoE transceiver is compatible with all PoE+ devices, and IFP emphasizes that integrators can install the PoE unit at device locations to streamline their installations. IFP points out the single-mode fiber product delivers inbound data, along with 2-conductor power cable to a 2-pin spring terminal. The company says the data signal then connects via RJ-45 directly to a touch panel, wireless access point or camera.
“Integrators have asked us for a PoE solution, and we listened and delivered,” adds Eric Crawford, founder and CEO, Integrated Fiber Platform. “knowing well the in-field needs of integrators and the limitations of category cable networks, we believe it is essential to deliver more fiber-connected solutions. Our PoE transceiver is the perfect addition to our in-wall transceivers and give integrators a solid reason to spec fiber networks today and every day for all their projects.”
