Snap One will highlighting several of its brands at its ISE 2024 booth #2L130 in Barcelona, Spain, including Control4, OvrC, Luma, Araknis and more.
Key highlights of the booth include the company’s new Control4 CORE lite Controller designed to provide comprehensive smart living control, new real-time surveillance benefits of the AI-powered Luma Insights solution, Control4 Vibrant Linear Lighting with color temperature and slider controls, Wattbox power products with OvrC remote management.
Core lite Controllers Find Strength in Single-Room Installations
The recently launched Core lite Controller is available in three different bundled price points and is designed to provide single-room installations and expansions with the complete Control4 experience, providing the same features and solutions as any other CORE Series Controller. According to the company, the controllers are also compatible with the Control4 Halo remotes.
Control4 offers bundles containing a CORE lite controller and either the Halo remote, SR260 or NEEO remote to give Snap One partners an entry-level solution for budget-conscious projects while enabling expansions for existing clients. The company says it continually issues firmware upgrades for Halo remotes to streamline user experience and improve reliability.
According to Snap One, when combined, the Control4 system acts as a central hub, integrating all of Snap One’s in-house brands and third-party products including lighting, climate control, security and surveillance, media distribution, networking and remote user access solutions.

Snap One says it consistently develops new products for the Control4 ecosystem, such as the Vibrant Linear Lighting system of controllable LED lighting products and the Luma Bridge, which enables integration with its new surveillance AI platform.
KNX Secure Leans into Consumer Cybersecurity Concerns
Snap One will also highlight KNX Secure, which the company says was developed by adapting the KNX IP Routing Gateway driver that works with the newer KNX secure standards. This is designed to provide a more secure approach to control systems for the home and commercial installations, and to comply with upcoming cybersecurity legislation.
The company says it One has looked to build upon its collaboration with KNX and at the ISE booth, attendees can experience technical examples from Adeo, Consyst, Eelectron, Ekinex, Faradite, Janus Technologies, MDT, Polarbear, QMotion and more. Additionally, there will be a side-by-side demonstration of both Composer and ETS working together and also an example of how to monitor and integrate with BACnet and Modus protocols in tandem with KNX and what this means to more advanced HVAC and BMS solutions using Control4.
Snap One Visitors Get Hands On with OvrC at ISE 2024
International Partners will also be able to demo the OvrC remote management platform, which has seen some substantial investments from Snap One in recent years to help build out the infrastructure of the platform.
OvrC enables installers to remotely view and access equipment to perform routine maintenance such as initial setup, firmware updates, remote resets, and more and is embedded in most IP connected Snap One products. OvrC is also a standard feature on WattBox rackmount and standalone power products including surge protectors and UPS backups, capturing device data and offering control of outlets.
The OvrC Pro agent, which provides visibility/monitoring to the entire network, is included in Araknis routers and Control4 controllers.
Snap One booth visitors will see how the OvrC remote system management platform, which is built into many SnapOne products, allows dealers to offer monitoring service subscriptions to generate recurring revenue and improve customer relations, the company says.
In addition to Control4 and OvrC innovations, the booth also highlights how being a Snap One Partner affords access to exclusive top-tier solutions such as Triad professional-grade speakers for home theaters, distributed audio systems, outdoor audio reinforcement and soundbar solutions, in addition to cutting-edge amplifiers and subwoofers.
Luma, Araknis, ClareVision Integrations on Full Display
Snap One will also demonstrate how Araknis, Luma and ClareVision solutions integrate with other Snap One systems such as Control4 and OvrC.
Araknis’ latest OvrC-compatible multi-gig solutions include switches with up to 10 Gbps, single- and dual-WAN routers with up to 2.5GBps WAN-LAN, and Wi-Fi 6 access points, PoE capabilities and Layer 2 and Layer 3 functions, while its new single- and dual-WAN VPN routers offer secure connections and peace of mind for owners. ISE attendees will be able to see the latest Araknis products and discuss functionality, applications, training and sales tactics with Snap One professionals.
Visitors will also see the integration capabilities of the Luma X20 family of NDAA-compliant surveillance cameras and NVRTs, as well as the new Luma Insights platform, which uses AI and machine learning to automatically detect on-camera incidents and send push alerts to users’ mobile devices. Tapping on the notification brings users to the Control4 app for a live view or recordings of the incidents. The software will save snapshots and video clips of triggered events to the cloud for seven days.
Snap One has also included a subscription model for access to those AI features provided by Luma Insights.
The enhanced camera views are coupled with a new suite of surveillance features including live thumbnails and a new single-camera view with custom buttons and settings in Control4. Snap One’s design teams also managed to reduce the size of Luma x20 cameras by up to 30% compared to previous models, while also upping the security and privacy of the cameras themselves.
The company’s booth also highlights the capabilities of the ClareVision solution, an NDAA-compliant surveillance line that includes a wide range of cameras, NVRs and accessories offering motion detection, color at night capabilities, on-board Micro SD storage and a Performance line featuring AI analytics. Through the ClareVision mobile app, users can receive instant push notifications, access live video feeds, review recorded footage and conduct basic management of camera and NVR settings.
