It’s Integrated Systems Europe’s (ISE) 20th anniversary, and even aside from that, the ISE 2024 event is on the cusp of making history. A sellout show on the largest show floor ever across eight halls of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via: it all really drives home the point that this is the BIGGEST global tradeshow event for the Pro AV crowd, especially as the show expects a record number of visitors at the show as well. And you can bet there’s going be tremendous amount of breaking news coming out of ISE 2024 to match.
While CE Pro remains a predominantly residential-focused publication, we’re not oblivious to the fact that most CE pros engage in commercial work to help supplement their main business, especially following pandemic shutdowns. In fact, it’s a well-known fact at this point that every integration firm within the CE Pro 100 has at least some component of their business tied to commercial. For this reason, CE Pro has teamed up with our sister publication Commercial Integrator to bring the pros all news from ISE 2024.
So follow along with Commercial Integrator and CE Pro for the latest news and happenings at ISE 2024. We will update this page constantly with show-related information, and once the show kicks off in earnest, you’ll get to see some on the ground action from CE Pro‘s Arlen Schweiger and Commercial Integrator’s Dan Ferrisi.
The numbers for ISE 2024 are in and true to expectations, the 20th anniversary of the ISE AV show has been a smash hit, bringing in a record number of attendees within the show’s history. With Day 1 down, I strode into Day 2 of ISE 2024 with plenty of highlights to see, moving over from where I had been previously into halls 2 and 3, the former bringing the show’s residential section into full view, while the latter filled the floor with eye-popping video walls, and that’s all just a fraction of what’s been on offer at the show so far this year.
This year’s Integrated Systems Europe tradeshow in Barcelona was by far the most successful, as ISE 2024 attendance numbers clocked in at nearly 74,000 attendees from more than 160 countries, representing an increase of 27% from last year’s event.
According to ISE, a total of 73,891 attendees from 162 countries visited the show, and both of those figures are records since ISE’s inception in Geneva in 2004.
At ISE 2024 in Barcelona, Naim Audio has introduced a complementary line of amplifier and whole-house audio products called the Naim CI Series that are designed to augment its sister company Focal’s architectural speaker products. ISE 2024 is well underway at this point, and with the 20th anniversary of the pro AV show being the largest edition yet, it stands to say that covering everything the show floor has to offer would be an overwhelming task for an entire company, let along a single CE pro. So here, we’re condensing some of our Day 1 highlights from ISE 2024 into this article to help make it all a little more digestible.

“USB 3.2 is rapidly becoming the go-to interface for USB-based peripherals used in video conferencing. The ability to extend it reliably has become a challenge for AV and IT Professionals, and our HDBaseT-USB3 standard’s ability to do so with cost efficiency and simplicity is exactly what the industry needs.
“The uptake of the technology by our member manufacturers has been impressive and we’re excited to preview the first products supporting HDBaseT-USB3 in our booth at this year’s show,” says Effi Goldstein, president, HDBaseT Alliance.
The program combines both CE Pro and sister publication Commercial Integrator to recognize the new and outstanding products and services at ISE.
