Naim Audio's CI Series of products are said to represent a new era for the British audio company. At ISE 2024 in Barcelona, Naim Audio has introduced a complementary line of amplifier and whole-house audio products called the Naim CI Series that are designed to augment its sister company Focal’s architectural speaker products. According to Naim, the release of the CI series represents a new era for the company in which it is offering complete range of custom electronic audio solutions designed with smart home integrations in mind.
Taking a look at the products, the Naim CI Series includes the CI-Uniti 102, which is an all-in-one streamer and amplifier, as well as the CI-NAP 101, which is a low- and high-impedance mono amplifier, and the CI-NAP 108 eight-channel amplifier.
Naim CI Series Series Integrates into Popular Smart Home Systems
Explaining each of the products, Naim points out the The CI-Uniti 102 is a streamer/amplifier that provides homeowners a combination of musical performance and versatility. The CI-Uniti 102 is designed to seamlessly integrate into any indoor or outdoor space, providing amplification for CI Focal speakers and delivering audio from a choice of media sources such as TV, Spotify, gaming consoles, and more.
The amp and streaming unit employs integrated DSPs that provide full system calibration to enable the unit to connect with the CI-NAP 108 and CI-NAP 101 to make the CI-Uniti 102 compatible for a range of whole-house AV applications.
Naim Audio says the products can be used with its new Focal & Naim Manager software, and Speaker Profiles, which are compatible with CI Focal speakers. Using the software and speaker profiles allow integrators to customize each installation’s DSP calibration for an optimal setup, whether in a commercial environment, at home or outdoors.

The eight-channel CI-NAP 108 Naim CI Series amplifier can be paired with the CI-Uniti 102 to support the connection of multiple speakers in different rooms or to amplify eight separate audio streams, with its local inputs for each amplified channel. Naim Audio also notes the CI-NAP 108 can also be used with AV processors for surround sound installations.
Rounding out the Naim CI Series of products is the CI-NAP 101. The a rack-mountable mono power amplifier is capable of operating in low or high-impedance mode, and when it is used with the CI-Uniti 102, integrators can mate the amp with subwoofers or speakers on a 70/100-volt line while maintaining high levels of audio quality.
Naim emphasizes the CI-NAP 101 is capable of driving loads as low as 2 ohms, and the company comments the amp works well with the 1000 IWLCR Utopia speakers, and two 1000 IWSUB Utopia subwoofers from Focal. Like the CI-NAP 108, the CI-NAP 101 can also be paired with an AV processor.

While at ISE 2024, Naim also introduced the Uniti Nova Power Edition System, which will be available in February 2024 at a retail price of $9,999.
