AV Pro Edge

Tom Devine was excited to discuss the synergies between AV Pro Edge and newly acquired AudioControl. He admits that his team has expertise in video distribution and was seeking a distributed audio dance partner – the combination is very complementary.
The brand showed its new Murideo Swiss Army knife “Fox & Hound” signal tester, and its 8K-ready receivers and transmitters.

For even more eye candy, Meridian’s flagship DSP8000 XE models were in the ISE booth too.
Waterfall Audio

The French company’s booth fittingly was across from Meridian as the two had arguably the best-looking loudspeakers at ISE. The glass design gets sturdier and more stunning; the flagship Niagara added XT1, XT2, and XT3 versions that include carefully matched left/right woodwork surrounding the tweeter.
SurgeX

The Waukegan, Ill..-based manufacturer was electrifying booth visitors with the next-generation rollout of its Connect+ solutions. A variety of outlet configurations is available.
Together for Cinema

The CIC organization continues its children’s hospice installs this year – Ian Morrish thinks there will be about seven, and to reach 50 in early 2025. A large gala in May will celebrate 1 million pounds in donations and installs.
Screen Innovations

Shannon Gustafson and Jerry Calder were excited about the ultra short throw material, as well as the slimmer version of the ‘Velvet Elvis’ frames, and new form factors.
“We’ve always had Zero Edge short throw and fixed frame only, but also now we have one in a bottom up and to down versions,” she states.
“So now we can do 120-inch in fixed, short throw and motorized lift. I feel like we’ve opened up that short throw market.”
Nice

The company’s Home Management Business is being overseen by ex-chief product officer Paul Williams. They integrate with solutions from other divisions – garage door, gate, and motorized shades. Williams mentioned how the former Fibaro control brand has followed the recent Nice transition and is now Nice Yubii, for the Euro, Middle East, and Africa markets. This is great I think for a mid-level system.”
“It all lays together and we are showing that for the very first time,” he notes.
“For the Yubii platform we have a new doorbell, new intercom, indoor and outdoor.”
Sonance

Mike Cleary was in the booth live and in Sonance’s short film. He was jazzed to talk about the aesthetic designs gained from James, and the grille choices for various looks and customization.
“Standard white, custom black, and then we’re debuting a new process called laser print, where we’re actually laser printing a product to the dealer’s specifications,” he explains.
“So in [the booth exam le] they could send us a piece of wood with a small aperture, flush the product in, we can fabricate the trim from the wood, or we could laser print the grain right on there.”
