It’s amazing to think that a company as widely used in recording studios as PMC, isn’t better known among audiophiles. PMC’s compact 20 Series loudspeakers were on display in the Bryston room, playing content that ranged from CD-quality 16-bit/44kHz to high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz material. The twenty.24 floorstanding speaker filled the room with an airy and detailed soundstage that was dynamic and clean. The 8-ohm speaker offers a 90dB sensitivity rating and a frequency response of 28Hz to 25kHz. This is a speaker through its slim profile and choice of colors that would be at home in almost any residential environment.
