Trinnov, Krix and Officina Acustica have announced they will be returning to ISE 2024, exhibiting together in Booth #2C500.
Shaped by the latest recommended practice from CEDIA (RP22 Immersive Audio Design Best Practice), this RP22 home cinema demonstration will showcase new technologies and equipment that have been refined and improved throughout the last year.
Joining the partnership is Barco Residential, who will complement the sound performance with best-in-class 4K HDR picture quality.
The demo is also supported by Kaleidescape, Kordz, madVR, RTI, Screen Excellence, and SurgeX.
A high-end home cinema demonstration
This year, Officina Acustica’s 18-seat cinema room will return. The high-performance, 9 x 6 x 3.3-meter room is unique to the show floor. The room will feature a 13.14.6 discrete speaker array, with Krix showing speaker and subwoofer models. The subwoofers will be arranged in an 8 – 6 WaveForming array.
Trinnov will provide the audio processing and amplification, including the latest iteration of its new WaveForming technology.
The video demo will include a Barco Njord Cinemascope 5K UHD 3-chip DLP projector. This laser projector will use its 9,000 ANSI lumens onto a 4.8-meter-wide Reference Screen Excellence screen with a 2.40 aspect ratio, calibrated to deliver stunning 40 foot Lambert images. A madVR Envy Extreme will provide the video Processing.
Room Features RP22 Design Influence
Trinnov Audio boasts that anyone spending just a few minutes on the show floor will realize even the best of booths are inherently compromised when it comes to delivering the highest possible level of audio performance in a home cinema.
The companies note a dedicated workshop delivered by Peter Aylett from Officina Acustica, Adam Pelz, and Ben Goff will cover some of the theoretical aspects of RP22 on Feb. 1 at 12.30 p.m. in CC1.1.
Considerations of the RP22 presentation include: What are the most critical limitations? How can they be overcome? What level of performance is expected?
Representatives from Officina Acustica, Trinnov Audio, Krix, and Barco Residential will be available to reveal the engineering decisions behind this room.
How to experience the demo
Public demonstrations will be open to all visitors each show day from 12.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Each public demonstration will run for 20 minutes and visitors can simply queue for entry on a first-come, first-served basis.
Thirty-minute private demonstrations will run daily from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and after 4.00 p.m. for predetermined guests. To reserve a private demonstration seat, please contact a representative of Trinnov, Krix, Officina Acustica, or Barco Residential as soon as possible.
