Throughout the summer the streaming service Netflix has been experiencing a successful run popular shows and movies. Adding to that list, which includes Stranger Things and The Gray Man, is the DC Comics-based series The Sandman.
Written by Neil Gaiman and starring Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Bappiste, Vivien Acheampong and Charles Dance, the 11-episode show focuses on Sturridge’s character Dream’s capture by mortals and his 100-year absence as the leader of the dream world.
