Audeze, a headphone manufacturer serving the pro audio and audiophile markets, has introduced its Maxwell Gaming Headphones.
The Los Angeles-based company says that its new gaming headphones provide users with more than 80 hours of battery life and ultra low levels of latency to keep pace with fast-paced gaming action. Audeze states that it will offer two version of the Maxwell Gaming Headphones: Maxwell for Xbox and PC, which is officially licensed by Microsoft and include auto-activating Dolby Atmos licenses. The company will also offer a version for Playstation and PC that supports Tempest 3D Audio.
According to the company, the headphones delivers low-latency, high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz when connected to the included USB dongle.
Audeze points out the Maxwell Gaming Headphones also provide users wireless connectivity options via Bluetooth 5.3 LE to support Bluetooth codecs such as LC3 and LC3 Plus, and the headphones also supports classic Bluetooth formats such as SBC, AAC and LDAC.
Other features the new gaming headphones provide include the company’s proprietary A.I.-powered noise reduction for clear communications through Audeze’s FILTER Speakerphone technology.
Internally, the headphones utilize 90mm planar magnetic drivers that deliver high levels of sound quality, and for comfort, the Maxwell Gaming Headphones offer users a spring-steel headband with an adjustable suspension strap.
Additionally, Audeze augments the headphones with its HQ Gaming App, which offers a host of customizable features.
