Theater demos are a mainstay at CEDIA Expo, and 2026 will be no exception as Lumagen, alongside other heavy hitters like Christie and Storm Audio, will be collaborating on a 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos theater demo intended to build upon Lumagen’s “Paragons of Home Cinema” demonstration from last year. Here’s what’s going into the demo, as well as where show attendees can find it at the Colorado Convention Center.
When and Where Will the Demo Take Place?
The demo will take place in Sound Room 7 (SR7) on the exhibition show floor during the show’s runtime (September 1 – 4) in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center.
The Components Behind the 9.4.6 Dolby Atmos Home Theater Demo
The full list of the components that will be used in the demo is as follows:
- Lumagen will be providing its ArtisaN 8K Ready video and audio processor, featuring eight inputs, two outputs, real-time video scaling, HDR dynamic tone mapping, precise lip-sync control and low-latency game mode with a fixed 3-millisecond video delay.
- Christie will provide projection with its award-winning 4K1000-KS model from the Korus Series of 1DLP projectors.
- Stewart Filmscreen will showcase VistaScope Evo, a two-way vertical masking screen system featuring Harmony G3 acoustically transparent woven screen material.
- NextLevel Acoustics will feature its award-winning Cinema Series, with the demonstration debuting two additions: the Cinema H height speaker, with 93 dB sensitivity, and the flagship CI-HV21 High Velocity 21-inch subwoofer, designed for deep, fast, room-pressurizing bass.
- StormAudio will showcase its Elite processor, built on the CEDIA Product Hall of Fame-winning ISP platform. As the heart of the immersive audio demonstration, the Elite processor will manage audio decoding, signal processing, bass management, and system calibration through the complete StormAudio Calibration Suite.
- SPEAKERPOWER will premiere the HTx408, an eight-channel amplifier delivering 400-watts per channel.
- Simplified Acoustics will manage room acoustics with the company’s new BDP acoustic panel.
- CineMotion Posters will demonstrate two 55-inch TVs in portrait mode in SR7 and booth 1346. One TV will function as a poster player, rotating through movie posters, while the second will serve as digital signage.
Other SR7 contributors include Kaleidescape (Movie Platform), Home Theater Gurus (Sound Room Design), Lowell Manufacturing (AV racks), and Bayview Audio (Video Production of SR7 demo introduction).
Why Integrators Should Take Note
“Our goal with Paragons of Home Cinema: Episode II is to give dealers a complete, real-world demonstration of what is possible when best-in-class video, audio, acoustics, and theater design technologies are engineered to work together,” said Jim Peterson, president of Lumagen.
“By bringing these brands together in one room, dealers can experience the performance and integration — including Lumagen’s direct control of the Stewart masking system — that define a true premium home cinema solution.”
