Samsung is unveiling several important new products and features at its CES 2025 appearance, including a host of new AI capabilities across its TV lineup, an expansion of the company’s Neo QLED lineup and an advanced version of its incredibly popular art-inspired TV The Frame called The Frame Pro.
This year’s CES will likely be heavy on AI, with Samsung, and fellow TV competitor LG, taking part in the trend. Except, in Samsung’s case, the company is unveiling what it calls Samsung Vision AI, a suite of new intelligent features designed to make Samsung TVs more autonomous and adaptive to user preferences.
This comes following the announcement that Samsung will be introducing its Dolby Atmos competitor, Eclipsa Audio, to the market in upcoming 2025 TVs.
What is Samsung’s Vision AI?
Vision AI is Samsung’s proprietary AI that will be included in most of Samsung’s new TVs for 2025, the features of which are largely aimed at using the context of what’s on the TV screen to perform multiple functions.
Key features of Samsung Vision AI include a click to search feature that offers instant information about what’s on screen, such as the identity of an actor of exploring displayed content without disrupting the viewing experience.

Also included is live translation capabilities–which will automatically create translated subtitles using the TV’s onboard AI–an integration with SmartThings for smart home control from the TV, and of course AI-powered audio and video optimization technology.
Samsung is also continuing its trend in offering art-inspired features for its TVs with a generative wallpaper function that allows users to create AI-generated images to turn their TVs into art canvases when they’re not watching content.
According to Samsung, Vision AI will be integrated across its new Neo QLED, OLED, QLED and The Frame models.
Samsung Is Hinting at This Being Just the Start for Vision AI
Beyond TVs–though still in them–Samsung’s Vision AI will also be able to interact with the SmartThings ecosystem. Devices connected to a TV with Vision AI will allow the AI to provide updates on the home environment (something that Samsung is already adding to its home appliances). How frequent the updates are and how in-depth is not clear at the moment, though Samsung has mentioned there being security alerts and daily updates, as well as being to adjust smart home settings based on what it “sees.”
The company also says it is collaborating with various AI partners, such as Microsoft, featuring the tech giant’s Copilot AI technology in its new smart TVs and monitors. Samsung says it will also work with Google and others to expand Vision AI’s capabilities.
Other CES Announcements Include a New Neo QLED 8K, The Frame Pro
Samsung also introduced the Neo QLED 8K QN990F, which the company calls its “most advanced TV to date” thanks to the latest NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor and on-device AI features that enhance audio and video quality.
The TV features 8K AI upscaling capabilities, auto HDR remastering, and other AI-enabled audio and video optimization features. Samsung also boasts the TV’s ultra-slim, minimalist design that combines a premium TV with elegant aesthetics.
Speaking of elegant TVs and blending technology with aesthetics, the company is also launching the Frame Pro, a new version of the Frame lineup that features Neo QLED picture quality and the company’s NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor, providing better picture quality for both artwork and video content. The newest Frame model also comes with the Wireless One Connect for flexible installations.
The company is also expanding its Art Store, which now includes over 3,000 curated works of art. This expanded collection is available not only on The Frame and MICRO LED series but also on Neo QLED and QLED models, Samsung says.
In another application of combining aesthetics and technology, Samsung is also unveiling at CES its MICRO LED Beauty Mirror, a smart mirror that features personalized beauty insights that analyzes individual skin types and provides recommendations.
Samsung also unveiled the Premiere 5, an interactive triple-laser ultra-short-throw projector that features an interactive touch feature that allows users to engage directly with the screen. The project includes Samsung’s LightWARP technology that projects images onto objects other than a screen to create immersive environments.
