Premium Audio Company (PAC), parent to acclaimed brands including Klipsch, Integra, Onkyo, Pioneer and Elite, has announced that 30+ year industry veteran Rob Standley has been promoted to President of Technology and Product.
In this newly created role, Standley will be responsible for the overall direction and strategic development of VOXX International brand Premium Audio Company’s brands and products, according to the company.
Premium Audio Company says it will look to Standley to transform its approach to technology across the enterprise. The PAC Technology Center in Osaka, Japan, will become the epicenter for streamlining technology development and platforms, with strategic implementation being led by each brand in its portfolio, according to the company.
This new approach “positions PAC for future growth, sustainability, and to become a leader in technology development,” it notes.
Additionally, Standley will continue to lead the global brand and product strategy for Onkyo, Integra, Pioneer and Elite, and their P&L globally. Beyond building out a global technology team equipped to lead PAC into the future, Standley will eventually lead all technology and product initiatives for the PAC global family of brands.

Standley Bolsters Own Sr. Management Leadership Experience at Premium Audio Company
Since joining Klipsch Group in 2012, Standley has held numerous senior management roles, and played an integral part in learning and developing every aspect of the professional, commercial and high-performance component audio segments, the company says.
His most recent role came almost exactly one year ago this month, when Standley was named Senior Vice President of Global Brands – Onkyo, Integra, Pioneer and Elite, where he led product and brand strategy.
Previously, Standley served in executive, management and sales level positions at Vann’s Electronics, working his way through the ranks to become chief operating officer.
On the non-professional side, PAC adds that Standley possesses a passion for live music that continues to dedicate him to his profession, and he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending concerts, and getting outdoors to for biking, running and hiking.
