In a bold statement, Nexus 21 says its new flip-down ceiling mount “outperforms the market at half the cost.”
The CL-65 TV ceiling mount, revealed at CEDIA 2015, offers a compact design, light weight of less than 120 pounds and easy installation. The mount is highly adjustable, featuring 95 degrees of downward tilt, and accommodates TV monitors of up to 65 inches.
“We started from scratch and have a built-in-the-USA unit that is faster and quieter than any other flip-down solution on the market,” says Cory Lovett, president, Nexus 21. “The cost of the CL-65 to dealers is about half of what is being paid for older technology, which opens up many more opportunities to spec the product.”
The CL-65, along with every other lift system Nexus 21 offers, will now include a 10-year warranty, double what the company previously offered. All Nexus 21 lifts previously sold will retroactively carry the new 10-year warranty as well.
“We’re doing this because we can,” says Lovett. “We have tens of thousands of lift systems in the field, deployed in every manner imaginable…and virtually every one of them is still functioning today.”
Lovett says the warranty is the same no-fine-print warranty the company has always offered and displayed on its website, just extended to 10 years. Excluding outside events, the warranty provides full replacement at no cost.
