While lighting may be the hot product category in the smart home industry, home theater remains a staple of the market, and Screen Innovations’ (SI) Maestro 2 screen helps integrators address modern home theater installations.
Screen Innovations states that its new screen material provides integrators with a screen solution that is audibly invisible and completely compatible with today’s laser-based projection products.
“The improvements in SI’s Maestro 2 are significant,” says Ryan Gustafson, founder, Screen Innovations. “We want our customers to have the pinnacle of visual and audible experience, no matter what the room dynamics. Maestro 2 is visual and audible perfection for the dedicated theater room.”
SI Maestro 2 Screen Complements 4K and 8K Resolution Content
The Austin, Texas-based manufacturer explains that its second-generation screen product has been developed for use with high-resolution, 4K and 8K content produced by laser-based projectors. SI emphasizes the screen features an ultra-smooth surface and it achieves complete silence while in use with audio systems, which SI notes can be a problem with some acoustically transparent screen products.
Screen Innovations also emphasizes that not only does its new acoustically transparent screen complement surround sound and immersive audio systems by not detracting from their performance, the Maestro 2 screen product has been designed to deliver 100% color neutrality. Elaborating on the new screen’s image capabilities, the company points out, that its latest product undergoes a specialized surface treatment to ensure that every displayed pixel is produced with clarity and precision, which SI says leads to high levels of image detail and depth.
