Furrion, a manufacturer of outdoor AV products, has introduced its new Aurora 4K Smart LED Outdoor TVs for Partial Sun, Full Shade and Sun areas.

Supporting its latest outdoor TV products, the company is also introducing its complementary Landscape Speaker System, Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer outdoor audio components.

“Year over year, we’ve seen an increased demand in customers wanting to build an outdoor entertainment space that is a complete extension of their home. Aurora 4K Smart Outdoor TVs Address a Range of Applications

According to the company, its new Aurora 4K Smart TVs were designed to withstand the rigors of living in outdoor environments. The products employ weatherproof designs that include IP54 ratings, and the TVs’ weather-resistant media bays provide protection for the units’ inputs and outputs.

Furrion states the Sun and Partial Sun TV models incorporate impact-resistant screens that provide protection for situations ranging from flying birds to kids throwing their toys.

The company emphasizes that a major performance requirement of an outdoor television beyond its ability to reliably live outdoors is its ability to produce bright images that allow users to see their content during sunny days. Helping integrators to service clients and their various needs, Furrion says that dealers can specify its Aurora 4K Smart Outdoor TVs’ Sun, Partial Sun and Full-Shade models based on where the homeowner wants their outdoor television to maximize their system value.

The TVs maximum brightness levels are based image requirements and whether the client requires a Full Shade, Partial Sun or Sun model. The Sun model Aurora 4K Smart Outdoor TV products are rated to produce up to 1,500 nits of brightness, and Furrion notes that it offers a choice of screen sizes from 43 inches to 75 inches, and wireless networking options to support homeowners’ ability to access their favorite streaming content through the products’ integrated WebOS smart services.

In addition to the TVs built-in speakers, Furrion says integrators can augment the products with its newly announced outdoor speaker products, and integrators can integrate the Aurora 4K Smart Outdoor television products into third-party control systems from manufacturers that include Control4, Savant, and Elan.

MSRPs for the new outdoor TVs and loudspeakers are as follows:

• Sun Models: $2,699.99 for the 55-inch model, $3,699.99 for the 65-inch model, and $4,999.99 for the 75-inch model
• Partial Sun Models: $1,699.99 for the 43-inch model, 2,299.99 for the 55-inch model, $2,899.99 for the 65-inch model, and $3,999.99 for the 75-inch model
• Full Shade Models: $1,399.99 for the 43-inch model and $1,999.99 for the 55-inch model
• Furrion TV accessories: $199.99 for a 75-inch flat/tilt mount and $169.99 for a 75-inch TV cover

Furrion Outdoor Audio Components

Helping integrators to bolster their outdoor entertainment installations, Furrion’s new Landscape Speaker system incorporates a weatherproof enclosure that resists environmental factors such as wind, rain, snow, dust, dirt, insects and humidity. Furrion says the system comes in a choice of two versions: Four 4-inch satellites with a 10-inch multi-mount subwoofer, or four 3-inch satellite speakers that’s complemented by an 8-inch, multi-mount subwoofer.

Moreover, besides the Aurora 4K Smart Outdoor television products, as well as the new Landscape Speaker systems, Furrion has announced its 70-watt 2.1 soundbar, and 8-inch Wireless Bluetooth Subwoofer. The soundbar and wireless sub can be purchased individually or as a package, and the company points out the products feature IP45-rated enclosures.
