Masimo is releasing two new home theater receivers through its consumer audio brands Denon and Martanz brands, including the Denon AVR-X6800H audio/video receiver and Marantz STERE0 70s 2-Channel Hi-Fi Receiver.
The Denon AVR-X6800H will be available at the beginning of 2024, but the Maratnz STERE0 70s 2-Channel Hi-Fi Receiver is available now for $1,000.
According to the company, the Denon AVR-X6800H audio/video receiver is designed to the highest standards in Japan, using a full suite of audio and video technologies for high-end home theaters.
The AVR-X6800H features 11.4 channels of amplification, 3D audio, 8K video and 140 watts per channel for dynamic, detailed entertainment experiences, the company says.
In addition, the new Denon receiver features Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and Auro 3D, as well as Dolby Surround, DTS Neural:X and Auro-Matic upmixer. For legacy content.
According to Denon, 8K video is supported on all 7 HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs. The AVR-X6800H also features HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR pass-through.
The Denon AVR-X6800H is also equipped with HEOS, enabling users to access streaming music services and share with HEOS-enabled speakers in other rooms.
In addition, the receiver offers several setup and configuration options to accommodate any space, and Audyssey room correction is also included, along with the optional Dirac Live upgrade.
Meanwhile, the Marantz STERE0 70s 2-Channel Hi-Fi Receiver is designed to perform like a full-sized amplifier in a slim design that includes the latest in audio technologies for sound enthusiasts.
According to the company, the STEREO 70s includes Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules that Marant says outperform traditional chip-based op-amps in conventional audio products.
The company highlights the smaller form factor, which features a 4.1-inch tall chassis that supports up to two loudspeaker pairs. In addition, the STERE0 70s has six HDMI inputs, three of which are 8K compatible. Another HDMI output supports ARC.
The STERE0 70s is also compatible with 192kHz 24-bit digital audio and DSD files. Like the Denon AVR-X6800H, the Marantz receiver also features HEOS technology so users can stream their favorite content throughout the home.
