HuddleCamHD, a manufacturer of USB-based conferencing products, has introduced its latest product, the new SimplTrack Lite auto tracking camera.
The Pa.-based company explains that its new video conferencing camera automatically creates smooth-tracking video conferencing shots without the need to be a technology expert. HuddleCamHD states all users need to do is plug the SimplTrack Lite auto tracking camera into a USB 2.0 port to record or stream with motion tracking.
According to the company, the new conferencing camera does not require any type of software, and through features like its 20x optical zoom, the 1080p camera can be set up as far as 55 feet away from a call participant to stream and record video.
HuddleCamHD notes the SimplTrack Lite also provides users with 59.5-degrees field-of-view and 270-degrees of rotation.
Some of the camera’s other features include the ability to be configured with specific preset tracking zones via a one-time setup process, and it offers compatibility with most of today’s video conferencing, lecture capture and learning management systems.
Additionally, the SimplTrack Lite auto tracking camera works with a range of other hardware products via its selection of outputs that include NDI HD, USB, IP, SDI and HDMI. On the audio side of the conferencing spectrum, the camera offers a 3.5mm connection for external microphones, and it can also capture audio when using a computer’s built-in microphone.
