AlarMax Distributors, a member of the PowerHouse Alliance, has acquired regional distributor Cassidy Technologies and its two branches in the Midwest. The acquisition of Cassidy Technologies’ branches, in St. Paul, Minn., and Des Moines, Iowa, expands the AlarMax national, U.S. footprint to 25 locations.

Cassidy Technologies customers will now enjoy an expanded product assortment, greater branch inventory levels, and AlarMax’s considerable buying power, providing better dealer pricing. The PowerHouse Alliance is a group of 11 regional distributors with 55 locations nationwide.
Cassidy Technologies has been in business for over 20 years. Throughout this time, the company has focused on customer service, quality products, competitive prices, and reasonable delivery timeframes.
Cassidy originally only focused on wire and cable, but then expanded its product offering to include intrusion/security products, access control, total home integration, audio/sound products, datacom, video surveillance, and installation tools. The company not only sells these products but stocks them. It added an interactive website later and maintains ongoing training on various products.
