Published: October 18, 2022

DOW Technologies, an independently owned technology distributor, has donated a percentage of its sales to the Hurricane Ian relief effort. DOWโ€™s donation, in excess of $25,000, went to the Florida Disaster Fund.

As Hurricane Ianโ€™s destruction had wide ranging impacts on the state of Florida, the company states that it wanted to provide assistance to those in need. DOW put together a plan to donate a percentage of sales which created an opportunity for its customers around the country to be involved. DOW announced that a percentage of sales from September 30ย to October 4 would be donated on the behalf of participating customers.

โ€œWe recognize that our support for local, independent businesses extends to supporting local communities,โ€ comments DOWโ€™s president & CEO John Yodzis.

โ€œOur customers have great impacts on the communities they live in both professionally and personally, and we wanted a way to bring that support from customers across the country to help those affected. Weโ€™re very happy to have made the donation on behalf of all of our customers that participated.โ€
