Anatomy of a Home Theater: Challenges, Choices, Construction
Register for this webinar for some analysis that can help expand your home theater horizons.
Home theater construction can be among the most creative and rewarding aspects of your job.
Like any other artistic skill, sometimes it helps to examine other people’s work to get your creative juices flowing.
We’ll talk with a couple of custom electronics installers about their home theater work during the webinar “Anatomy of a Home Theater: Challenges, Choices and Construction” on Wednesday, February 17 at 2 p.m. EST.
The webinar is free for CEProVIP and CE Pro Plus subscribers and $99 for non-subscribers.
Covering a mix of dedicated theaters and some multipurpose rooms, Ryan Herd of 1 Sound Choice (Pompton Plains, N.J.) and Rob Kowalski of Premier Home Theater (Newton, N.J.) will discuss how their media rooms came to life — from the first sitdowns with the homeowners to the speaker installations to the final walkthroughs and touchscreen lessons.
What obstacles did they face? What were the design requests, and subsequent challenges to meet? What budget concerns did the clients have, and how did that impact the audio and video selections or compromise performance? Is there anything they would have done differently?
These are the questions CE pros ask themselves and their clients on a daily basis, and answers can vary wildly depending on the way the wind blows. It’s always good to share these experiences, and there’s always something to be learned. This hour-long webinar aims to provide a quick refresher on the many ways you can construct a proud and profitable home theater and make your clients happy.
