Engineered for the robust conditions presented by humid environments, the C Seed Supermarine 201 and 144 TVs and speakers are designed to withstand those conditions without compromise.
Based in Vienna, Austria, the European manufacturer says the Supermarine 201 and 144 integrated TV and speakers provide yacht owners with the “ultimate” A/V experience.
The products feature design influence from C Seed's 201 outdoor television, which was designed by Porsche Design Studio, and are engineered to integrate into marine environments.
C Seed Supermarine Products Rise to Action in 15 Seconds
A key element of the C Seed Supermarine 201 and 144 series of TVs and speakers is the hydraulic drive system used in the TVs.
C Seed explains the hydraulic drive system combines vertical and horizontal drives that retract the TVs into shallow compartments that measure just 31 inches deep. The TVs' shallow depth is designed to save valuable space on and below deck. Once activated, the TVs take just 15 seconds to rise to a height of 9.8 feet. Additionally, the TVs' LED panels silently unfold within the next 45 seconds of activation.
C Seed points out the TVs incorporate 48-bit color depths, and produce 4,500 nits of brightness to ensure the products maintain high levels of contrast and overall picture quality in brightly lit settings.
The TVs are also specified to produce contrast ratios of 4500:1, and offer tight pixel pitches.
Supermarine Audio Engineered by L-Acoustic
On the audio side of the A/V equation, the C Seed Supermarine speakers utilize industrial designs that complement the looks of the TVs in a “monolith” style.
C Seed says that acoustically the speakers provide, “superior sound to round off perfect days; [they] complement beautiful surroundings and entertain guests at superyacht parties.”
A key part of the speakers performance is the engineering provided by the commercial audio company L-Acoustic. L-Acoustic is a well-known manufacturer of sound reinforcement products that include line arrays, PA speakers, monitors and other products that can be found on some of the world's most famous concert stages.
C Seed adds the speakers' passive design reproduces a full tonal spectrum frequency range of sound to deliver “amazing and powerful brilliance.”
Externally, the speakers employ one-piece metal casings that are machined out of blocks of aluminum, with sensitive parts made from stainless steel.
