StormAudio has announced a series of upgrades that it says improve the performance of its products through the introduction of its ADEC technologies.
Elaborating on the ADEC technologies, the company says the updates represent an evolution of its audio processors through the launch of its new decoder section: ADEC (Advanced DECoder) technologies. This upgrade StormAudio boasts, solidifies its commitment to delivering high levels of audio performance.
ADEC Technologies Enhance Immersive Audio Experiences
Outlining the technical capabilities and practical benefits for users, StormAudio points out the upgrades offer several improvements that include:
- Enhanced processing power for superior performance: With the ADEC technologies StormAudio states the processing power has been enhanced, thanks to a new processor that packs both advanced dual-core DSP and ARM core. The upgrade enables better performance, while unlocking new features, for what StormAudio says is an even richer and more immersive audio experience.
- Superior decoding performance: StormAudio notes the improved decoding is achieved by rewriting the entire code, resulting in faster switching times (2.5 times) and seamless integration of future audio technologies.
- Enhanced immersive audio with unrivaled accuracy: StormAudio stresses the upgrades are fully certified for the latest formats, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, MPEG-H, and Sony 360 Reality Audio. StormAudio asserts that with its ADEC technologies, its products seamlessly handle demanding immersive audio formats to deliver sound experiences that faithfully reflect the artist’s or director’s vision, even in complex multichannel setups. The processing also provides full immersion with precise spatial positioning of audio objects.
- Powerful multichannel processing for flexibility: The ADEC technologies currently support up to 35 channels, offering a solution for sophisticated, customized home cinema setups that feature low latency and perfect synchronization across all channels, ensuring seamless playback.
