If you had a bedroom like this, would you ever want to get out of bed? For the homeowners of this award-winning master suite in this Miami high-rise, that answer is probably a big, fat “Nope!”, especially after the automation work MAXICON put into it.
The fully automated system has a “Good Morning” button that turns the entire bedroom into its own gentle alarm clock. One press of the 10-inch Control4 touch panel, and the curved track of Lutron blackout shades give way to reveal an L-shaped glass window overlooking the beautifully scenic Miami Beach Intercoastal.
That single button press also turns on the TV to their desired program while the master bath shower plays relaxing music to help start the day.
Meanwhile, at night, the clients can turn on the 120-inch Screen Innovations projection screen powered by a JVC laser projector, and with Origin Acoustics surround sound speakers to help them drift away to sleep.

The project wasn’t without its challenges. A single room can still present some pretty sizable obstacles and it was the exact size of this suite that provided the biggest obstacle of them all.

Due to the size from end to end, the ideal viewing distance between the bed and TV would’ve had it floating right in the middle of the room. The customer did not want to install a ceiling motorized TV lift, however.
Instead, MAXICON installed a projection system that, when completed, created a second separate TV room area thanks to Screen Innovation’s Zero-G screen combined with a motorized projector mount from Future Automations.
The customer also wanted to use curtains and wanted no stacking in the windows. So, MAXICON created a custom Lutron curved track to hide the curtain stacking away from the windows. This bedroom also has full surround sound and a dual projection and TV audio video systems.
To keep the clear and modern look of this master suite, the company installed a Zero-G Screen Innovations projection screen.
