Metra Launches New Spyclops, Helios Accessories at ISE 2018
Metra will be exhibiting new junction boxes and wall surge protectors at ISE
Metra Home Theater Group, a provider of home theater products and accessories for the integration community, has launched new accessories to complement its popular Spyclops IP and HD over coax cameras.
These new Helios power accessories are showcasing at ISE 2018 from February 6 – 9, 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands in stand 1-Q65. The new accessories include junction boxes and 6-outlet wall-tap surge protectors with USB.
Metra Home Theater Group’s new large junction boxes are available in both white and grey, SPY-JB320W and SPY-JB320G, and are designed for use with the Spyclops standard sized cameras.
The smaller junction boxes are also available in white and grey, SPY-JB310W and SPY-JB310G, are designed for use with all mini size Dome & Bullet Spyclops cameras.
In addition, Metra is offering a new 6-Outlet Wall Tap Surge Protector, AS-P-6WTU, which features 6-outlet surge protected outlets rated for 300 Joules along with 2 USB charging ports which are 3.1A and C/ETL/US listed.
Metra's ISE reveals come on the heels of its CES 2018 product debuts. The company introduced the newly reengineered products at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
Ethereal MHX and MHY HDMI cables are able to carry 4K content farther than previous versions of the products due to Metra's construction technologies, according to the company. The Ethereal MHY high-speed HDMI cables with Ethernet support 4K Ultra HD with high dynamic range (HDR) at 60Hz. Cables ranging from a half meter to 10 meters support 18Gbps of throughput, while cables ranging from 12 meters to 15 meters support data rates as high as 10.2Gbps.
The Ethereal MHX high-speed HDMI cables provide 18Gbps data rate capabilities up to 7.5 meters. Cables ranging in length from 8 meters to 12 meters deliver 10.2Gbps of throughput.
Longer Ethereal MHX HDMI cables that range in size from 15 meters to 17 meters deliver data rates as high as 6.75Gbps. Metra Home Theater emphasizes that integrators can use its HDM-GA1 Gigabit Accelerator with the 8-meter to 17-meter cables to deliver 4K with HDR at 18Gbps.
