D-Tools is heading to CEDIA Expo 2026 with an expanded focus on artificial intelligence and a slate of new features designed to help integrators operate more efficiently and profitably.
In an interview ahead of the show, D-Tools CEO G Paul Hess previewed two AI capabilities the company plans to showcase: Quote Assist and AI Advisor. The additions represent a significant expansion of the AI tools D-Tools introduced in its cloud platform last year.
Quote Assist is designed to streamline the proposal process by allowing integrators to feed D-Tools Cloud information from customer conversations, emails, drawings, jobsite photos, notes and other project materials. The platform can use those inputs to develop a project scope and produce the foundation of a working quote, including rooms and systems.
“Our goal is so that the integrator is building from a draft and not building from scratch,” Hess says.
AI Advisor, meanwhile, is intended to function like a business analyst within D-Tools Cloud. Integrators can ask natural-language questions such as which active projects are most at risk, with the platform analyzing information including overdue tasks, purchase orders, inventory and change orders to generate an answer.
D-Tools will also highlight improvements introduced with D-Tools Cloud Release 100, which arrived in July with 74 feature enhancements. Among the updates are faster ACH deposits, expanded inventory and asset management, rebuilt sales reporting and improvements to interconnect diagrams.
For Hess, those developments are part of a broader effort to shorten the gap between customer feedback and new product capabilities while helping integrators improve workflows across their businesses.
CEDIA Expo attendees can see the latest D-Tools capabilities at booth 3723.
