Savant, a manufacturer of smart home systems, has announced integration with battery storage power system manufacturers Schneider Electric, Fortress Power, Sol-Ark, and HomeGrid, powered by Lithion.
Moreover, the Cape Cod-based company has also announced the availability of select, out-of-the-box solutions that will be available direct from Savant dealers via the Savant Dealer Store.
“Savant is focused on not only making every electrical panel smart but adding value to this intelligent energy platform with industry-leading, advanced brand integration,” states George Katsiris, vice president, product evangelist at Savant.
“Advanced integration allows for the Savant app to automatically report key insights such as battery state-of-charge, historical trends, and more. Savant is the only company offering dealers this level of scalability across the energy management category, with add-on battery storage solutions starting under $20,000.”
Savant Offers a Choice of Battery Storage Systems
Supporting clean whole-home power, Savant will carry a choice of battery storage systems that will accommodate projects up to 800 AMPs, with options that include single- and three-phase configurations.

System choices range from 7kW to 11kWh, and 500kW to 1100kWh, and Savant emphasizes its dealer support team can help integrators design system solutions for applications that include on-the-grid backup home systems and off-the-grid home backup systems.
For more entry level systems, the company says it will offer packages up to 800 AMPs that range in power from 9kW to 19kWh, scaling up from 45kW to 11kWh. These whole-house, clean-power systems will incorporate hybrid inverters from Sol-Ark and battery storage from either HomeGrid powered by Lithium or Fortress Power. The hybrid inverters manage solar and battery storage, while offering AC or DC solar coupling.

Savant says that DC-coupled systems add energy efficiency, and these systems can use solar energy to automatically initiate battery charging without the need for AC conversion.
The company says these packages will be available to professional integrators mid second quarter (Q2) 2022.
